World Water Day - Sunday, March 22, 2009

The international observance of World Water Day is an initiative that grew out of the 1992 United Nations Conference on Environment and Development (UNCED) in Rio de Janeiro.

Help us celebrate in central Indiana!

We are partnering with the IMAX Theater at the Indiana State Museum to promote water quality and conservation. IMAX is showing two water related movies, Grand Canyon Adventure 3D - River at Risk and Under the Sea 3D.

  • Grand Canyon Adventure 3D - Sunday, 1:45 p.m.
  • Under the Sea 3D - Sunday, 3:05 p.m.

Enjoy this special double feature and learn about water conservation, see interactive water experiments designed to teach children and adults about the water treatment process, and learn about available technology that will help you conserve water at home and at work.
