Atrazine and Arsenic
Indianapolis Water customers frequently ask if harmful levels of atrazine and arsenic are present in their drinking water. Our testing insures that concentrations of these parameters remain well below established EPA standards. Occasionally during the spring, when test results indicate the need, powdered activated carbon (PAC) is added to the surface water treatment process to reduce atrazine concentrations.
