Veolia Water Indianapolis LLC (VWI) was the first water company in the nation to simultaneously receive both ISO 9001:2000 Quality Standard and 14001:1996 Environmental Standard registrations.
ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 represent internationally recognized standards that incorporate quality management principles and practices. Together, the registrations are central to delivering superior service to customers through faster, more consistent communication and safer, more reliable service.
The ISO certification must be substantiated each year via ongoing
random audits by experienced ISO professionals. The overall goal for
the company is toward continual improvement in all business aspects.
