Veolia Water seeks to be the national and world model of utility public-private partnerships. The unique relationship between Veolia Water Indianapolis, LLC, (VWI) the day-to-day managers and operators of Indianapolis Water, and the city of Indianapolis presents an unprecedented opportunity to become leaders in the drinking water industry.

At VWI, we are working hard to be the total water solution to the community through operational excellence and stewardship of the central Indiana water supply. We want to set a new standard for creating and delivering excellence in water quality, customer service, cost-effectiveness and community partnerships. These four aspects define our focus and what we are all about.

We value our partnerships with various community interests and our commitment to providing resources to meet and sustain the needs of our neighbors in the not-for-profit sector is significant. We support community programs, establish community partnerships and participate in community events that adhere to our community involvement strategy. Our employees remain active in the various communities throughout our service territory and their activities reflect our belief that such involvement provides personal enrichment, professional growth and improves the overall quality of life in our community.

Indianapolis Water has a rich heritage of leadership in the drinking water industry that serves as a foundation for the future. We are building on that legacy through a multi-year partnership with Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis to create a research and development center provides the means to conduct meaningful research that will have direct benefits to the Indianapolis waterworks system and customers.
