Service Pipes
You
are responsible for the water service line or "pipe" from the public
right-of-way into your home, including any outside meter pit. You are
responsible for repairing any leaks on your portion of this service
line. Indianapolis Water is responsible for only that portion of the
service line from the water main to the public right-of-way. You must
purchase, install, remove and maintain all meter pits, meter pit covers
and other materials composing the meter pit facilities.
