Storm Drain Marking
Every year, Veolia Water Indianapolis and the Center for Earth and Environmental Science (CEES) team up with the Indianapolis Department of Public Works to mark storm drains in the city - all in an effort to boost water quality and reduce the amount of "stuff" that ends up in our waterways.
Thirty-one service learning students from IUPUI participated in this fall's project, affixing more than 700 colorful stickers to storm drains on the city's west side, reminding everybody that what ends up in the storm sewer ultimately ends up in our water.
